She smiled up at him. Suddenly, Angel's family was there. Catherine ran to Angel, hugging her tight. Angel cried into her sister's jacket. "Catherine, I missed you so much!" Catherine was the only person in her family that she felt really loved her. Besides Nimmo, of course. Her father, who adopted her a few weeks before the game, loved her as well, he and Catherine didn't beat her. Her mother did. She stood in the back of the room, scowling at Angel. Angel's new father looked Nimmo over, raising a brow.

Catherine scoffed, looking away. She dragged her parents out.

Angel looked slightly hurt by the words Catherine whispered in her ear a few seconds earlier. She looked over at Nimmo.
