What a Rainy Day... - Private with Bacon!

She coughed weakly.

He gave her a worried look and slowed as they neared the hospital in the next town, it looked like that town wasn't even hit with the hurricane, he parked the car and got out, going to her and gently picking her up out of the car.

A nurse saw them, the chubby woman ran outside, "Are you all right? You look like you came form that town that was hit by the huge hurricane... I heard there were no survivors!" She called a stretcher.

"It was just us" He stated bluntly, still holding onto Lana, scared if he let go something bad would happen.

The nurse nodded, "Allright, what's her emergency?" Lana was in too much pain to speak.

"She just woke up and said it felt like something was kicking or punching her stomach" He said and was hesitant to put her on the stretcher, but he did after a couple minutes.

"Any sexual intercorse?" the chubby nurse asked, writing things down on a clipboard.

He glanced towards Lana, the thought coming to mind, "A couple times, yes" He answered, his arms crossing over his chest and his wings stretching out slightly then folding again.

"And... did you pull out?" she said, raising her eyebrow. This nurse was pretty sure the two had been having a little too much fun.

He ran his hand through his hair, letting out a groan towards himself.

"Mmhmm..." The nurse said, frowning. "Well, take a pregnantcy test. If it's positive, and she's pregnant, that's the pain. If not, it's a real problem. Come back if it's negative and she's still in pain."

He gave a nod, gently picking Lana up, walking back to the car, he kissed her forehead gently.

Lana whimpered a little.

He set her in the car gently and closed the door, walking to the other side and turning the car on, driving back to the basement, he parked the car and went back over to her side, gently picking her back up and going down the stairs, setting her on the bed and grabbing the bag beside the bed, trying to find the pregnancy tests.

Lana winced and grabbed her stomach, curling up and almost throwing up.

He found the box of pregnancy tests and he gently held Lana up, handing her the box.

"T-Thank you." she said quietly, taking one out and sticking it in her core. A few minutes later it beeped.

He watched her, worry across his face, he much preferred her pregnant, at least they would know what was causing her pain.

When she took it out it was positive. "P-P-positive..." she whispered, laying her head on his lap.

He gave a small smile, brushing her hair out of her face, "At least we know what's going on now" He said gently.

She smiled weakly, going to sleep.

He watched her as she slept, still worried slightly.

She woke up the next morning and yawned.

He was still awake, but slowly drifting off to sleep, fighting to keep his eyes open.

She rested her head on his chest.
